To ensure a secure, transparent, and efficient withdrawal process, the following Terms & Conditions govern all Driver Wallet withdrawal requests made through the Miwayz platform.
1. Minimum Withdrawal Amount
Drivers may withdraw their available wallet balance at any time, subject to a minimum withdrawal amount of LKR 100.
2. Daily Withdrawal Limit
Miwayz currently does not impose a limit on the number of withdrawal requests that a Driver may submit during a calendar day.
However, to support secure and efficient payment processing, reduce operational costs, improve reconciliation, minimize unnecessary transaction volumes, and strengthen fraud prevention measures, Miwayz reserves the right to introduce, amend, or remove daily withdrawal limits at its sole discretion in accordance with operational, banking, security, or regulatory requirements.
3. HNB Bank Transfers
Withdrawals to a Hatton National Bank (HNB) account are processed free of charge.
4. Transfers to Other Banks
Withdrawals to accounts maintained with other licensed commercial banks are subject to applicable CEFT transfer charges, which will be deducted from the withdrawal amount.
Applicable charges shall be determined in accordance with the prevailing HNB and/or banking network tariffs and may be revised from time to time without prior notice.
5. Maximum Withdrawal Amount
Miwayz currently does not impose a maximum withdrawal limit.
However, Miwayz reserves the right to introduce maximum withdrawal limits per transaction and/or per calendar day where required for banking, operational, security, compliance, or regulatory purposes.
6. Processing Time
Withdrawal requests submitted on a business day will generally be processed on the same business day, subject to banking network availability, operational requirements, and successful verification where applicable.
Miwayz reserves the right to amend daily processing cut-off times where operational, banking, or regulatory requirements necessitate such changes.
7. Bank Account Information
Drivers are solely responsible for ensuring that their registered bank account details are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Miwayz shall not be liable for delays, failed transfers, rejected transactions, or financial losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrect banking information provided by the Driver.
Where funds have been successfully transferred to the bank account details provided by the Driver, Miwayz shall not be responsible for recovering or reimbursing funds transferred to an incorrect account as a result of information supplied by the Driver.
8. Eligible Bank Account
Withdrawals are permitted only to a bank account held in the Driver’s own name or to an approved business account where applicable.
Miwayz reserves the right to reject withdrawal requests directed to third-party bank accounts.
9. Available Wallet Balance
Only the available wallet balance may be withdrawn.
Funds pending settlement, under review, under investigation, subject to adjustment, or otherwise unavailable shall not be eligible for withdrawal until released by Miwayz.
10. Minimum Wallet Balance
Miwayz reserves the right to require Drivers to maintain a minimum wallet balance to facilitate future deductions, adjustments, penalties, or other operational requirements.
Any such requirement will be communicated through official Miwayz communication channels.
11. Disputed or Restricted Funds
Wallet balances subject to disputes, chargebacks, trip adjustments, refunds, fraud investigations, compliance reviews, or policy violations may be temporarily withheld until the relevant matter has been resolved.
12. Negative Wallet Balance
Where a Driver’s wallet reflects a negative balance due to refunds, adjustments, penalties, chargebacks, or other authorized deductions, future earnings shall first be applied to offset the outstanding balance before additional withdrawals become available.
13. Failed Bank Transfers
Where a withdrawal fails due to banking network interruptions, invalid account details, or other banking-related issues, Miwayz shall investigate the transaction.
Upon successful verification of the failed transfer, the applicable amount will be credited back to the Driver’s wallet, less any banking or payment network charges imposed by the relevant financial institution where applicable.
Reversal timelines may vary depending on the procedures of the respective banking institution.
14. Withdrawal Cancellation
Once a withdrawal request has been successfully submitted and entered into processing, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or reversed.
15. Withdrawal Notifications
Drivers may receive withdrawal status updates through the Miwayz Driver App, SMS, push notifications, email, or other official communication channels.
Notifications may include confirmations, successful payments, delays, rejected requests, reversals, or other relevant updates.
16. Account Suspension or Restriction
Drivers whose accounts are suspended, blocked, restricted, under investigation, or terminated shall not be eligible to submit withdrawal requests until the account status has been resolved to Miwayz’s satisfaction.
17. Fraud Prevention and Compliance
Miwayz reserves the right to delay, suspend, reject, investigate, or withhold any withdrawal request where fraudulent activity, suspicious transactions, policy violations, security concerns, or regulatory obligations are identified or reasonably suspected.
18. System Availability
Withdrawal services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, banking network interruptions, software upgrades, technical failures, security maintenance, or other unforeseen system issues.
Miwayz will use reasonable efforts to restore service availability as promptly as practicable.
19. Force Majeure
Miwayz shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, failure, or inability to process withdrawals arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Banking network failures
- Telecommunications disruptions
- Regulatory actions
- Government directives
- Natural disasters
- Power failures
- Civil unrest or disturbances
- System outages
- Events constituting force majeure
20. Transaction Records
Miwayz reserves the right to retain withdrawal requests, transaction histories, supporting documentation, and related communications for audit, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, taxation, legal, regulatory, compliance, and operational purposes in accordance with applicable laws and Miwayz’s data retention policies.
21. Additional Verification
Miwayz may require additional identity verification, bank account verification, supporting documentation, or other information before processing a withdrawal where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, compliance, regulatory obligations, or risk management.
Failure to provide the requested information within a reasonable period may result in the withdrawal request being delayed, suspended, or rejected.
22. Regulatory and Legal Holds
Miwayz may temporarily delay, suspend, or withhold any withdrawal where required to comply with applicable laws, court orders, regulatory directives, banking instructions, anti-money laundering (AML) obligations, counter-terrorism financing (CTF) requirements, sanctions screening obligations, or any other legal or regulatory requirement.
23. Policy Amendments
Miwayz reserves the right to revise withdrawal limits, processing times, fees, operational procedures, and these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Any material amendments will be communicated through the Miwayz Driver App, official website, SMS, email, or other official communication channels.
Continued use of the Driver Wallet withdrawal facility following such amendments constitutes the Driver’s acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
24. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
All withdrawal requests remain subject to successful account verification and compliance with Miwayz policies, applicable banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, counter-terrorism financing (CTF) obligations where applicable, sanctions screening requirements where applicable, and all other applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
25. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a withdrawal request, the Driver acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
